Chemotherapy alters the mucosa of the mouth and often triggers oral mucositis, characterized by inflammation and sores in the mouth. At the same time, it is accompanied by symptoms such as dry mouth, mouth pain, chapped corners, mouth ulcers, and a decreased sense of taste. When oral mucosal disease appears, it causes difficulty in eating and unbearable oral pain.
